Resolution

The root cause of this error has not been determined yet. However, steps to fix it have been found and are shared herein.

This error seems to surface only with "Custom List" or "Custom List With Deep Export" apps. It normally happens when the Project field is selected for display on the grid. This error is due to a mismatch between the browser's cached info of a previous run of this app with new information. It possibly is related to changes in the project scoping as selected for the app.

Here is a list of steps to perform to fix this issue. After each step, log out of CA Agile Central, close your browser, then open the browser and log back into CA Agile Central , then test if fixed. If not, then proceed to the next suggested step.

Step 1: Click a column header such Rank or ID to see if that resolves the issue.

Step 2: Reset the app's settings to "Follow Global Project Settings".
Click the app's grid icon on the top-right corner, select: Settings.
Select the "Follow Global Project Settings" and click Save.
Restart the browser as explained above.  If that didn't resolve the proceed to:

Step 3: Remove the "Project" column from display.
Inside the app, click the "Show Columns" icon, unselect the Project field and click Apply.
Restart the browser as explained above. If that didn't resolve then proceed to:

Step 4: Delete the app from your dashboard.
Click the app's grid icon on the top-right corner, select: Delete App.
Restart the browser as explained above, then add the app back to your dashboard. If that didn't resolve then proceed to:
