How to create an On-Demand template that can be used for "Summary Table/Chart by Metrics either BitsIn/BitsOut or UtilizationIn/Out, where the device interface can be modified by a user

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Resolution

While you can't do this directly, you can add this on-demand report view to a context tab on a device/component context page:

When you view different device/component context pages, the view context will change as well.

Also, you can run on demand reports by searching for a device, checking the box next to the device in the results, and clicking On-demand. In this case, you would need to configure the report when you run it as you can't choose an existing template using this method.
