Generating the IDB2SYS Post Install job for Sysview Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) encounters failure:
IDB2INS2 FTOPEN failure

Cause

The exact cause of the FTOPEN error condition could not be determined.

Resolution

Going into Post Install (INSMAIN) and selecting option 1 Setup and then 2 Global, and then selecting the DSNAMExx member
to repopulate the member allowed for the successful generation and execution of the IDB2SYS job.
