Issue/Introduction

Bringing up CA Top Secret up for the first time and getting a:

CCSR010E TSSMNGR S013 at 00C6D9FE LMOD SAFFFQIO CSECT SAFFFQIO +000316 TSS N/A TSS

abend during TSS initialization.

This abend has also occurred using IBM Flashcopy to set up a Disaster Recovery system.

Cause

 

Resolution

The abend S013 occurs when the Program expects the DD to have a specific DCB, but the DD has a different DCB.

Examples that have been seen as cause of the abend:
The AUTOCMDS member was not found during the initialization which is documented in the AUTOCMDS DD of the TSS startup JCL. 
The TSS PARMLIB member was not found during initialization because the PARMLIB DD was not correct or missing.
