EKG not being accepted for DR test

Issue/Introduction

Customer is in the middle of a DR, and they requested an EKG to begin today May 9th  When customer tries to apply the EKG, gets error INPUT:
EKG(45BF76AF) INVALID DATA: INVALID EKG CONTROL CARD DETECTED IGNORING

Licensing has already attempted to give another EKG to see if it resolves the issue, and customer was following the instructions. Customer is attempting to apply this for mainframe common. Needs Support assistance to identity the issue on why the EKG is not being accepted.

Cause

The DR environment was IPL'd using a date in the past . So fir the IPL date the EKG code was invalid.

 

Resolution

EKG code needed to be generated for their system date which ids set at 5/7/2018. Once new code was generated it was accepted w/o error.
