Issue/Introduction

When trying to create an ACF2 endpoint account, you encounter the following error:

Account for Global User '[uid]' on CA ACF2 Endpoint 'ACF2' creation failed
CA ACF2 Lid '[uid]' on 'ACF2' creation failed: ACF Dispatcher Add failed: eTACFNumericUserID: value #0 invalid per syntax.

Please note that the UID begins with a 0, such as 012345.

Environment

Release:
Component: IDMGR

Cause

The ACF2 endpoint does not allow leading zeros in eTACFNumericUserID and throws a syntax error.

Resolution

In order to create the accounts, you'll have to either change the user's UID to something that does not have a 0 at the beginning. Or, change the mapping in the account template so that eTACFNumericUserID does not point to a field with a leading 0. You can also create the account directly on ACF2 and E&C the user into Identity Manager, as a workaround.
