Share the TMC/Audit Between Different Releases

Issue/Introduction

We are currently planning to upgrade from CA-1 Release 12.6 to Release 14.0. The TMC/Audit file is shared across multiple lpars and we're planning to upgrade these one at a time. I need to make sure there aren't any issues with sharing the TMC/Audit files between systems on 12.6 and 14.0?

The TMC file and the AUDIT file can be shared between release 14.0 and any supported release of CA 1® Tape Management System.

If you are running an unsupported release of CA 1® Tape Management System, it is possible that the TMC and AUDIT files can be shared. You can share both a standard TMC or a TMC created with the TMSXTEND utility in 14.0 and earlier releases of CA 1® Tape Management System.

Note:
R14.0 is currently GA.
