Issue/Introduction

ESP is functioning properly, but the following messages are seen:

  •  ESPA_1070W File 85% full, Dsn=HLQ.ESP.CKPT
  •  ESPA_1071I File usage down to 0%, Dsn=HLQ.ESP.CKPT

Resolution

In this environment, the proxy is the tracking system.  When it is down, jobs that were submitted or had been running and the tracking data is stored in TCELLS memory.

Once ESP is started, this memory is dumped to the CKPT file and then transmitted to the master to update the status for the jobs.

ESP is working as designed, and these messages are expected.
