Do not allow users to sign off TPX when sessions are active. You may want to force users to inactivate their sessions before logging off.
Active sessions retain virtual terminals allowing possible limitations on the availability of virtual terminals.
There are two options that allow you to prevent users from logging off TPX with active sessions and can be customized in the SMRT, 13 - Optional Parameters.
These options are activated when users who have either a F or K in the 'Inactivate on ' in the USER's Maintenance panel. (Panelid - TEN0166)
Inactivate on; tells TPX whether to terminate application sessions when the user exits TPX. Normally, TPX leaves the sessions active.
Possible values are:
F - TPX will terminate active sessions when the user issues either a /F or /K command.
K - TPX will terminate active sessions when the user issues the /K command only.
