S378 ABENDS OCCUR WITH DB2 12 AFTER UPDATING SECADM1/SECADM2

Issue/Introduction

S378 abends may occur within the CA Solutions for DB2 for z/OS after CA Thread Termination/Dynamic ZPARM for DB2 for z/OS (PTT) attempts to update the value of DSNZPARM SECADM1 ("Security ADMIN 1") or DSNZPARM   
SECADM2 ("Security ADMIN 2").  This continues until the DB2 subsystem is restarted.  Only sites running DB2 12 can incur this problem.       
                                                                    
The following messages appear when PTT attempts to update the value of  DSNZPARM SECADM1 or DSNZPARM SECADM2:                                   

PXM0810 CA/XMANAGER RECOVERY IN PROGRESS (TCB 007B0CF8)                 
PXM0811 PSW: 070C1000 81554590  LMOD: *UNKNOWN OFFSET: N/A   ABEND: S378
                                                                        
The messages above appear again when the user attempts to access the CA
Solutions for DB2 for z/OS main menu.                                  

Environment

DB2 12

Cause

Do not attempt to use PTT to update the value of either DSNZPARM SECADM1
("Security ADMIN 1") or DSNZPARM SECADM2 ("Security ADMIN 2").
