It may be necessary to turn up the logging levels for Business Objects from time to time to help troubleshoot a report failure. This article will explain the steps to do that.
Logging is outputted to:
C:\Program Files\CA\IAM Report Server\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Logging
Start up the CCM from Start->Programs->Business Objects->Enterprise->Centeral Config Manager
Stop the following services:
Crystal Reports Job Server
Crystal Reports Page Server
Right click on these servers and select "Properties". Add the following to the end of the Command field:
-trace -crpetrace 7
This will create new diagnostic and function log files and increase the amount of logging.
Now stop all the services and clear out the logging directory.
