VTAM applid is needed if using PIV/CAC smart card readers.
CA-AAM requires a VTAM ACB (MAAINT00) to be able to issue VTAM SENDCMD/RCVCMD commands (such as: D NET,ID=luname command), in order to determine which PAM IP address the user came from; so that PAM Smart Card validation can take place for the Top Secret user.
