Issue/Introduction

How to fix "shortage of free STC resources, try later ..."  error ?

Resolution

"Shortage of free STC resources, try later ...", this error is related to STC Pooling,  means all the STC's in the pool are in use processing other requests so that there is no STC available to process the new request. 

Solution:
1) If running endevor 18.0, ensure that fix SO11268 is applied and deployed. This fix corrects a problem with the shortage of STC resources being reported when there are still free STC's

In addtion: 
1) increase PoolMaxSize parameter in the xxxxx.cfg file that defines the datasource ( the maximum allowed value is 40)
2) in the CAICCI SERVICE and PROCESS statements that define the spawned STC in the CAICCI spawn parameters (SPNPARMS DD in the ENF STC),  increase MAX#_PROCESSES value. This is to ensure that CCI will allow to spawn the increased number of STC's
3) For Endevor V18.1 set Connection Timeout value in Endevor.cfg greater than 0.
