Issue/Introduction

Using the IC command on a SY L report on a specific DB.TABLESPACE shows the latest image copy information from a full image copy. Specific partition information is needed, can this be done?.

Resolution

RC/Query has a new line command for Release 12.0 and later. The line CMD is IC1. By issuing this command the image copy of a particular partition can be viewed, the specific image copy report will be displayed. Using the old IC line command displays information for all partitions starting at the first part so, one had to scroll through the entire report to display the information for a specific part. The new IC1 line command displays the exact partition information that is requested!

If the image copy information for just DSN 11 is wanted, now the IC1 command can be entered NEXT to the part on the CMD line and the following is then displayed:
