Why is package approval not working after a user approved the package

Issue/Introduction

I have a package that has a approval group with several users. The QUORUM SIZE is 1. I have a user that approved the package yet the package status remained in "IN-APPROVAL" status. Why do the status not change when a user approved it.

Resolution

Check you approver group. If the Quorum size is 1 and you have several users in the approver group. Then you must ensure that all users have Required approvers = N. If you have 1 user with Required approvers = Y then the package approval will wait for that approver to approve the package.
