Issue/Introduction

I have a package that has an approval group with several users and the QUORUM SIZE is 1. A user approved the package but the package status remained in "IN-APPROVAL" status. Why does the status not change when the user approves it?

Resolution

Check the users that are listed in your approver group and ensure that all users have the REQ'D field set to 'N'. If you have any users with REQ'D = 'Y', then the package approval will remain in 'IN-APPROVAL' status.
