How do we resolve the following CA Ramis error when invoking RAMIS:
DM0498: Invalid activity, database not available
Release: 7.4
CA Ramis
CA Ramis Reporter
CA Ramis requires a database.
The default database is DDname DATABASE until changed via a USE command or a USE command issued via an automatic procedure at startup.
The DM0498 error means that the default Ramis database in MVS batch or TSO with DDname DATABASE does not exist.
The DM0498 error could also mean the Ramis database specified in a USE command does not exist.
Check the Ramis batch jcl for the //DATABASE DD.
Check the Ramis output for any USE command and the result.
Check then that the specified data set exists and is accessible.
Refer to the CA Ramis Combined Message Guide via the CA Ramis Version 7.4 set of documentation at CA Ramis Bookshelves and PDFs.
