Issue/Introduction

Sorry for the trouble, but user says that they are not able to log on to DQRY after the upgrade to V15.

I see error messages in CICS:
+DB00501E - OPEN ERROR - RETURN CODE 68 (001) CXX= MUFNAME=T5.
+GSVC201E (Task) Tran=DQRY Task= 123 Code=DQ09 Program=VPEHJN65 ReqID=* .
+DB00122I - ACCESS TYPE - LOCAL TASKS=5 +DB00501E - OPEN ERROR - RETURN CODE 68 (001) CXX= MUFNAME=T3.
+ICPSPLTI01I - TASK NETT SUCCESSFULLY STARTED.
+GSVC720I CA SYSVIEW for CICS request started CICS came up first and MUF came up after CICS.
Could this be a problem?

Connection errors after  upgrading to DB release 15.1.

User cannot connect to the MUF from CICS.

Environment

Z/os, CA Datacom/DB

Resolution

ASM/Link of DQOPTLST macro with customized user parameters resolved the problem. (Especially SECINF=YES)

Additional Information

Parameters from Macros such as Data Query DQOPTLST macro are not saved after upgrading.

Meaning the parameters are set back to the defaults. In other words: they are not customized. Resulting in unpredictable errors.

Here SECINF parameters was missing among others.
SECINF parameter is related to DataQuery Security.

This is true for any CA Datacom macros (Ideal, IPC, Datacom...).

Macro parameters must be saved and reset (re-customized) before asm/linking them again in the new release.
