This article outlines the procedure for configuring CA Identity Manager workflows to calculate duration based on business days rather than calendar days.

Environment

Identity Manager 14.x

Resolution

1. Access Workpoint Designer Launch the Workpoint Designer application used for managing your environment's workflows.
2. Open the Process Locate and open the specific workflow process you wish to modify.
3. Configure Duration Settings Navigate to the Duration tab within the process properties.
4. Set Day Counting Within the Duration settings, select the option to calculate time based on business days rather than calendar days. This configuration is applied on a per-process basis.
5. Save Changes Save your changes and deploy the updated workflow process to your environment.
