Issue/Introduction

In situations where it's required to delete all the devices which are part of the Device group by selecting all the devices, the expected behavior is that the Device group would not have any devices listed after deletion of the devices and the Device Group would be empty.

How to delete all the devices which are part of a Device Group and what is the expected outcome?

Environment

CA PAM Version : 3.0.1, 3.0.2 and 3.0.3
The environment can be stand alone instances or clustered environment as well.

Resolution

Expected Result: While trying to delete all the devices which part of a Device Group by selecting all the devices, the expected outcome is that the Device group would be empty, and no devices would be listed as part of the Device group.

Actual Result: The devices are actually not being deleted from the Device Group, they re-appear again when the Device group is being refreshed / opened up again. 

This is a know defect in CA PAM 3.0.1, 3.0.2, 3.0.3 and 3.1.1

This problem has been fixed in CA PAM 3.2 release.

Resolution: To get over this problem, CA PAM has to upgraded to 3.2 or higher releases.
