Issue/Introduction

When applying Database Management for Db2 for z/OS maintenance to the CDBALOAD library,
do the Xmanager, and Sysview for Db2 PC and data collector started tasks need to be stopped?

Resolution

When applying maintenance to the Database Management for Db2 for z/OS executing libraries, requirement is to stop
the Xmanager, and Sysview for Db2 PC and data collector started tasks.

Per maintenance Holddata:

Please do not apply maintenance to the Xmanager runtime libraries with 
Xmanager active as it may result in a discrepancy between 
dynamically loaded components and statically loaded components. 
This may result in unpredictable behavior with CA-DB2 tools and/or may 
compromise the operating system/DB2 including possible failures.
