Event Message with garbage/junk characters for cmnHistMacChangedMsg and cmnMACMoveAddress

Issue/Introduction

The SRM stopped processing the events because of garbage/junk characters for cmnHistMacChangedMsg (0x210d88) and cmnMACMoveAddress (0x210d89)

Environment

CA Spectrum 10.2.x

Resolution

This issue is address in Spectrum 10.3.0.

Additional Information

You can do the following to work-around the issue:

Edit the $SPECROOT/SG-Support/CsEvFormat/Event00210d88_en_US file. 

Change from cmnHistMacChangedMsg = {S 1} to cmnHistMacChangedMsg = {o 1} 

Save the file. 

Edit the $SPECROOT/SG-Support/CsEvFormat/Event00210d89_en_US file. 

Change from cmnMACMoveAddress = {S 1}} to cmnMACMoveAddress = {o 1} 

Save the file. 

Go to the OneClick Administration web page 

Click on "Update Event and Alarm Files" and click on "Reload" button
