User Stories from Rally not syncing to Clarity

Issue/Introduction

Why are User Stories from  Agile Central / Rally not syncing over to Clarity? Is it possible and if so how, to send the schedule state of the user stories to Clarity? 

Environment

Release: All Supported
Component: Clarity Rally Integration

Cause

Starting in Clarity 15.4, User Stories from Agile Central can be synced into Clarity. However, User Stories are synced only if Features are also being synced to Clarity

Additionally, in order for User Stories to sync to Clarity, the 'Create and Sync Stories' check box has to be checked for the project in Clarity

Following is a scenario where User Stories do not get synced:

• "PortfolioEpics" (in Agile Central) are mapped to "Projects" (in Clarity)
• "Capabilities" (in Agile Central) are mapped to "Tasks" (in Clarity)

However, following is a scenario where User Stories do get synced:

• "Initiatives" (in Agile Central) are mapped to "Projects" (in Clarity)
• "Features" (in Agile Central) are mapped to "Tasks" (in Clarity)

Resolution

Ensure that Create and Sync Stories is check for the project

In Classic Clarity:

1. Click on the project properties drop down and go to Settings
2. Check the check box for Create and Sync Stories
3. Click Save

Note: You can also add the Create and Sync Stories to the project list view and update the value from there. 

In the Modern User Experience:

You can add the field to the project Blueprint

Another option is to add the field as a column on the Grid list view
