APM with SAML and relayState paramter

Issue/Introduction

With an APM 10.5.2 cluster , I want to configure SAML authentication to access the TeamCenter Web site. But we are not seeing the RelayState parameter when calling the SAML SSO. Why is this?

Resolution

According to SAML2 specification the RelayState parameter is optional. If present in the Service Provider login request then the Idp will just return it unaltered.
The APM SP login request does not include (is not implemented) a RelayState parameter and if one is received in the Idp response it will be ignored
