NETAPP_ONTAP MCS Template File (XML)

Issue/Introduction

The NETAPP_ONTAP 1.21 probe doc suggests that this probe is MCS compatible which currently it is not.
The mon_config_service does not have the XML files to provide capacity to configure the probe that way.

Resolution

There was some issue with netapp_ontap mcs template and so the template was not published. This is currently a doc defect as probe documentation says that metric configuration is supported through mcs while it really isn't, yet.
The problem will be fixed with UIM 9.0 should have the netapp_ontap mcs version of the probe.
