No reload modified REXX after a rule is Enable

Issue/Introduction

I have rules that call REXX by using the following commands: call rexxname, or rc = rexname (). These REXX are in SYSEXEC libraries. After OPS 13, I notice that if I modify a rexx in TSO OPSV; 4; 2 and that I do not do disable / enable all rules associate to it, my changes will not reload.

Resolution

It has always been requirement to disable and re-enable rules that call REXX programs in the 2 ways you mentioned in the description of this document when the code of the programs are changed. You wouldn't need to disable/enable the rule if it dispatched the REXX program to a OPSOSF server with ADDRESS OSF 'OI program-name'
