Issue/Introduction

For MQ Virtualization, the co-relation schema is working fine when recorded against a live system but when recorded using RR pair , the message ids of request and response are not matching.

Environment

All supported DevTest Environments

Cause

When creating VS with RR pairs, there were no message headers  and  so. VS is created without any META data information which is causing the issue.

Resolution

  • When we do the Live recording enabling Correlation-Id will handle the responses automatically.
  • When you use RR pairs ,  use sidecar files for the META data information.  In the recorder,  use the "Request Data Copier"DPH and capture the META data information in to properties and use the Message Id property in the VSI-->Response-->Meta Data.

Additional Information

Refer to section "Request/Response Pairs" and choose the "Sidecar Files" link in the documentation of the DevTest release you are running.

Refer to section "Request Data Copier Data Protocol" in the documentation of the DevTest release you are running.
