Does adding many certificates affect the performance of API Gateway?

Resolution

In theory, as the number of certificates added to the API Gateway increases, the performance will also be affected accordingly.
However, the number of actual certificates added which will end up resulting in any kind of performance impact depends on the contents of those certificates.
