Issue/Introduction

There is a bug in NFA which caused NFA interfaces to not fully sync over to CAPC inventory. The interfaces which would not sync over properly were caused by a defect which affects all interfaces with an ifType over 219. 

Environment

NFA 9.3.8
Windows 2012

Resolution

  1. Upgrade to NFA 9.3.8.
  2. Downloading Cumulative Patch: https://ftp.broadcom.com/user/downloads/pub/netqos/product_patches/NFA/9.3.8/NFA_9.3.8_CP_001.zip
  3. Extract the files and follow the included readme to carefully and properly apply the patch.
  4. Confirm that NFA interfaces with an ifType over 219 are now syncing over to CAPC..
