Cannot send exchanger message to remote node

Issue/Introduction

Cross node jobs do not run and the following errors are logged in the universe.log file:

ERROR|X|IO |pid=26147.140185094313728| owls_api_exchanger_create | Error -1 connecting to node <DOLLUNODE> port 10600
ERROR|X|IO |pid=26147.140185094313728| o_module_exc_cycle_emissi | Cannot send exchanger message to remote node DOLLUNODE

Environment

Dollar Universe version 6

Resolution

Establish network connectivity between the two nodes.

Additional Information

In some cases, the IO server might stop due to the network issue and you may see messages like these:

INFO |A|IO |pid=26337.139756952585984| o_get_io_msg_on_permanent | Network error, connection to the IO server lost -> trying to reconnect...
INFO |X|DQM|pid=26177.140488357500672| o_get_io_msg_on_permanent | Network error, connection to the IO server lost -> trying to reconnect...
INFO |S|IO |pid=26541.140341133682432| o_get_io_msg_on_permanent | Network error, connection to the IO server lost -> trying to reconnect...

These messages indicate that the IO server has stopped.  Restart Dollar Universe in order to get full functionality back again.
