How to Monitor Gateway Concurrency via Precision API Monitoring

Issue/Introduction

Are there any metrics within Precision API Monitoring  that allow us to gauge the Gateway concurrency, the number of connection threads currently in use.  We would like to find a way to monitor this value within APM.  Can this be done?

Resolution

We don’t currently monitor this, but it has been requested by many customers and is arguably something that the Gateway should be able to reflect as a data point.   We are currently investigating this and how to incorporate it into Precision API Monitoring.
