Release Parameters not Updating

Issue/Introduction

Pre-deployment fails to initialize because release parameters do not update property during the deployment run, which causes deployment validation to fail.

If the environment was recently upgraded to version 6.5, the symptom observed may be that deployments are failing immediately after upgrading.

Cause

This problem is caused by a known defect in earlier builds of 6.5.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the latest cumulative patch (6.5.0.10007 and later), which can be downloaded here:
