CABI Jasper 6.4.2 support for Spectrum 10.2.3

Issue/Introduction

Spectrum 10.2.3 supports CABI 6.3 out of the box.

However, with the release of PTF 10.02.03.PTF_10.2.316  Spectrum 10.2.3 now supports CABI Jasper 6.4.2.

Resolution

Contact CA Support to obtain patch PTF 10.02.03.PTF_10.2.316.

Please note: If you plan to install the 10.2.3 BMP patch, please install 10.2.316 PTF first - then install the BMP.
If you already have the BMP installed, you can install 316 and then run the BMP installer on top.

Once this patch is installed, follow these steps:

1. Stop JasperServer.

2. Login to OC and navigate to Administrator -> Reportmanager -> Jasper Integration Page.

3. Download SpectrumConfigInstaller.jar into Jasper Server.

4. Run Jar as java -jar SpectrumConfigInstaller.jar -install.

5. Start Jasper Server.

Additional Information

Known Issues from Jaspersoft 6.3.0 to 6.4.2 Upgrade
Note: When upgrading from Jaspersoft versions 6.3.0 to 6.4.2 , the SSO, LDAP and email functionality will no longer function.  To ensure a successful upgrade to Jaspersoft 6.4.2, the user must reconfigure these settings. 

1)To Enable SSO please follow below steps.
Copy the ‘config’ folder from the <<CA Business Intelligence Installed Directory>>/apache-tomcat-bkp/webapps/jasperserver-pro/WEB-INF/ location to “<<CA Business Intelligence Installed Directory>>//apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver-pro/WEB-INF/”

2)Email Settings re-configuration
Copy the js.quartz.properties file from the  <<CA Business Intelligence Installed Directory>>/apache-tomcat-bkp/apache-tomcat-bkp\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF\
To
<<CA Business Intelligence Installed Directory>>/apache-tomcat-bkp/apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF\
