Issue/Introduction

User has  noticed the data in column ENDUSR_WORKSTATION, which is in various tables, is defined as CHAR 18. CHAR 18 is not large enough to hold the entire value. Is this value being truncated in the SMF records or in the column due to definition?  If the column definition is too small, does CA have plans to increase the length?

Environment

Release:
Component: IDB2

Resolution

Searched the ARCDDL for tables with column ENDUSR_WORKSTATION and found 2 tables INSIGHT.APPL_DDF_DETAIL and INSIGHT.APPLICATION_DETAIL. They both have: ENDUSR_WORKSTATION VARCHAR(128). So either user modified this column in the tables or somebody's else did since the default DDL provided with the product is different than what user is using.
