BPM-0519: Internal Process Engine Error. Instance '-1' is not found

Issue/Introduction

Getting below error message while creating action item using change request object: BPM-0519: Internal Process Engine Error. Contact your site administrator (Object with name 'CR' refers to object 'change' bound to the instance '-1' is not found).

Cause

Process 'Change request Approvals has primary object 'Change request Approver' and linked object 'Change Request'. They are linked with Attribute 'Change Request'. 

Project Test Program (Project) 
Change Request Approver List: 
3 rows each with different Approver 
We added column 'Change Request' and it was not populated. 

Resolution

Process 'Change request Approvals has primary object 'Change request Approver' and linked object 'Change Request'. They are linked with Attribute 'Change Request'. The linked attribute was not populated. Once he populated with the GEL code the action item was generated fine.
