Issue/Introduction

I am getting the following error messages when CA OPS/MVS is started:

  • OPS0041H RC=32 for:OPSPRM(SET,SSMACTIVEGLOBAL,YES)
  • OPS0041H SSMPRIORITY MUST BE NON-ZERO FOR SSMACTIVEGLOBAL TO BE YES

My start parameters in CA OPS/MVS are set to the values below in the OPSSPA00 member:

  • SSMACTIVEGLOBAL          YES
  • SSMPRIORITY                  500

Environment

z/OSCA OPS/MVS

Cause

The SSMACTIVEGLOBAL and SSMPRIORITY parameters are in the incorrect order for processing.

Resolution

Moved the SSMPRIORITY before SSMACTIVEGLOBAL parameter in the OPSSPA00 member and retried the start of CA OPS/MVS.
