Issue/Introduction

Registered a spreadsheet- set up a data pool and variablized some address fields. Created a second data pool and store some address data to be referred to as a source for variables. Created variables (TEST Match Type) which are mapped to the object in the second data pool. Validate the data pool with the variables and receive 'No relevant values in the specified data pool'

Environment

Release:
Component: TDMDTM

Resolution

Please perform the following operations to properly set this up.
  1. Create a new Data Pool (let’s refer to is as datapoolvariableinput).
  2. Open the publish window for the original Data Pool (DP1).
  3. Save “values from variables” and select “from default values”.
  4. Register/Import the newly created CSV.
  5. Edit datapoolvariableinput, you can see the variables imported from the CSV file as a used table.
  6. You can add data (as rows) if needed.
  7. Publish from DP1, from the values for variables windows select from Data Pool.
  8. Select the newly created datapoolvariableinput.
  9. Validate.

Now it should work.
