Issue/Introduction

The DB00248I messages contain vital information for use in troubleshooting any problem within the MUF, or with a DBUTLTY or DBSQLPR job. Since almost every problem will need to know the version of a module you have installed, these messages easily tell us what we need to know without having to run a separate SMP/E report and also a listing of the actual load module.

Because there are so many DB00248I messages in my MUF log and on the console, can these be suppressed?

Environment

Release: DATABB00200-14.0-Datacom/AD
Component:

Resolution

These messages are deemed important and therefore, cannot be suppressed; however, the message is only produced one time for each module as it is loaded into memory.
