Issue/Introduction
When I encounter some problems with AUA ( Autosys Upgrade Assistant ), how can I trace this utility for debugging purpose?
Environment
Autosys Upgrade Assistant installed on Windows
Resolution
Close the AUA interface on the Windows server and start it up in debug mode like that:
1) navigate to the directory which contains file aua.jar
2) at the MS Dos prompt, type: java -jar aua.jar -trace
You should be able to find the AUA trace in the AUA log directory like on mine where I am logged on as user01: Output --> c:\users\user01\appdata\local\CA\AUA\logs
Then open a case at CA support and attach the files to the ticket Latest AUA version can be downloaded from:
