Issue/Introduction

User received the following error. "QI119W - Invalid DB2 subsystem(s) defined in the SETUP member." Here is how theĀ  SETUP00 member is defined for the DB2V12: SSIDVER (V12) SSIDMODE (BNFA) SSIDVER (V12) SSIDMODE (CM) SSIDVER (V12) SSIDMODE (NFM) andDB2 V11. SSIDVER (V11) SSIDMODE (NFM)

Resolution

BNFA is not a valid option. From Page 31 of CA Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS - 19.0 CA DB Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS - Home DB2 12 Support To enable support for DB2 12 function levels (V12R1M100 and V12R1M500), the following new values are now accepted in the SSIDMODE field in the SETUPxx parmlib member: NFY (New Function Active) NFN (New Function Not Active)
