Issue/Introduction

Sometimes it might be desirable to install different versions of the PAM Client to the same computer.

E.g. for testing purposes we would like to use the r2.8 and the 3.0 version of the PAM Client.

Can we install the PAM Client in different versions in parallel to the same workstation?

Just install the different versions of the PAM Client (i.e. 2.8 and 3.0) into different directories – then the two instances have their own cache and behave independentlyl
