Issue/Introduction
Customer is not able to save the activity Update Status, if the old status is the same as new status. Customer is using the activity only to register a log comment
Is it possible to use the Update Status activity, just to log a comment, without changing the status?
Environment
R 14.1 Cum#3 and later, 17.0, 17.1
Resolution
By design, when you use the Update Status Activity, you MUST set a new status different from old status To register a log comment, you MUST do it through Log Comment activity
