Issue/Introduction

We went from a shared Master file sysplex to a non-shared Master file sysplex over this past weekend.   Are there implications of having the AIX and PATH allocated on the non-shared system? The instructions clearly state not to allocate them. Does Top Secret just ignore them if they are allocated? Is there Performance issues?

Environment

Release:
Component: TSSMVS

Resolution

There is no harm in having the AIX and Path DD in TSS proc. There is very slight overhead.  TSS does not open the AIX or path if the file is not shared.
