DB2 Error: SQLCODE=-204, SQLSTATE=42704 with XCOM Trusted DB

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to XCOM™ Data Transport® for Windows r11.6 17090 SP02 64 bit with IBM DB2 11.1, I can no longer connect to the XCOM trusted database.

The log shows the following error messages:

DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-204, SQLSTATE=42704, SQLERRMC=XCOMTRST.XCOM_TRUSTED_SYS, DRIVER=3.72.30
java.lang.NullPointerException ExceptionMessage=[null]

Cause

Known problem with DB2 v11.1

Resolution

This is a known problem with IBM DB2 v11.1 and is fixed in Db2 11.1 Mod 2 Fix Pack 2 iFix002 or higher
