Release: AAMOS499000-8.0-Automic Applications Manager-OS400 Agent

Resolution

Detailed Description and Symptoms
At times we need to view information regarding tables in the Backlog or History which are not available in the standard view in the Applications Manager (AM) Gui. An example for this is the so_application_status field for Oracle Applications jobs.

The instructions below will explain the same.

Solution
Steps for customizing the Backlog view:

1. In the AM Gui go to Options->Tables->Backlog
2. Determine the tables you would like to add by scrolling though the DB_NAME column.
3. Check the boxes for the 'VISIBLE' column specific to the tables identified in the step above. Select 'SO_APPLICATION_STATUS'.
4. Hit 'Ok'.

Once back in the main screen on the AM GUI you can view the values for the jobs in the backlog by scrolling to the right hand side. The newly added column called 'Application Status' is now seen. The same instructions can be followed to add additional tables to the History view by going to Options->Tables->History in the first step of the above mentioned instructions.
