Issue/Introduction

Sometimes during production runs or testing the agent will crash for no particular reason and we would like to know why.

The log file of the Agent that crashes shows error message like

******** Attention: Error by sendig data to UC4#CP004, Data length = 582, Returncode = 10054

or

******** Attention: Error by sendig data to UC4#CP004, Data length = 582, Returncode = 10053​

Resolution

This is actually a Windows problem and there is something closing the connection between the AutomationEngine (Server) and the Agent.
   
This is the info from the Microsoft Support site:

An established connection was aborted by the software that is installed on the host computer. This may have occurred because of a data transmission time-out or because of a protocol error.

Please talk to your Windows administrator for more information.
