Archive utility receives error U0031222 when running in batch mode

Symptoms

Running the archive utility in batch mode results in the following error:  U0031222 Error creating archive files, error code: No such file or directory.

Cause

The archive utility stores the path of the archive files in the variable UC_UTILITY_ARCHIVE in its respective client. This is defined the first time you run the graphic interface of the Archive utility for that client.

Resolution

Option #1

Run the graphic mode of the archive utility. Under Settings click on the Archive tab and define the path for 'Archive Directory'

In each client you are running the archive utility against create a variable object named UC_UTILITY_ARCHIVE with the following values:

KEY= PATH

Value 1= <path of archive files>
