AS/400 Filetransfer Job fails.

Symptoms

A Filetransferjob involving an AS/400 agent fails.

The Following message can be found in the statistic detail window of the JOBF:

U0011416 Filetransfer partner "Agent" terminated connection.

Investigation

Data needed for Analysis:

• Agent logfiles from the time the error occurred
• Runnid of the Job that Failed

Search for the follwing error message in the agent logfile:

Receive-Error: 3426 = A connection with a remote socket was reset by that socket.
U2002036 Could not receive anything from partner 'Agent'. Error code '3426'.
U2000007 Terminated connection to Executor 'Agent'.
U0011416 FileTransfer partner 'AGENT' terminated connection.
U0011409 FileTransfer 'RUNID' ended abnormally.?

The Error "Receive-Error: 3426 = A connection with a remote socket was reset by that socket" Is an OS error that is captured by Automic and protocolled into the logfiles,

Solution

This is an issue that has to be solved by the As/400 or Network-Administrator.

Internet investigation searching for the error message:

Information that i found: these are issues on AS/400 side or issues with the network connection to As/400.
