DB locks on MQ * tables, UC4 system stop

Detailed Description and Symptoms

On the Database tables get locked, Automic System get stopped, automatic traces?

Investigation

In the WP traces look for  " Segment is already being shrunk?"

in detail it looks like:

 

25 - 20110908/141910.285 - U0011889 DB table 'MQPWP' is going to be reorganized.

 

18 - 20110908/141910.289 - U0029108 SQL_ERROR Database handles DB-HENV: e820340 DB-HDBC: e82b668

Solution

since Operations Manager V8 SP2 the MQ tables get checked and shrunk by the server every 30 min. The process is named: DB table 'MQPWP' is going to be reorganized. this has nothing to do with the DB reorg !

Workaround:

You can turn this off in:

UC_SYSTEM_SETTINGS

MQ_CHECK_TIME  set the value to 0?
