Detailed Description and Symptoms

We are getting the following warning when attempting to send any emails from within the product. 

On my own PC this actually causes the whole Applications Manager instance to freeze, no matter what response is given to the message, making it necessary to shut down App Manger via the Windows Task Manager. 

On another PC that I tried, Applications Manager did not freeze but appeared to cause the RMI Server to stop responding after responding "no" to the below message.

 Details: Could not connect to SMTP host: <host>, port: 25{mail.smtp.port=25, mail.smtp.host=<mail_host>, mail.smtp.from=<email_address>}

Solution

Try this: Go to the Java Control Panel>Advanced Tab>Expand Security Change the java security setting to 'Enable - hide warning and run with protections'.
