Error seen when creating/editing notifications.

Detailed Description and Symptoms

When you try and add a new notification you recieve an error similar to:

AWT-EventQueue-0: .ErrorMsg: Error #: AwE-9999

AWT-EventQueue-0: .AxOptions: NoErrorMsgProperties=false

ErrorMsg: AwE-9999 Internal error (19.07.12 16:08)

Details: null

java.lang.NullPointerException

Solution

You can try the following to resolve:

Invoke the sosite file.

Please now run awinstall:

 

Please confirm everything then choose:

 

02 Reapply portions of upgrade ...

 

then

 

07 Reset Jnlp files

 

Once this is done quit out.

 

Please then clear the java cache on your local machine so that we redownload the jnlp files local.

 

 

Go to your control panel>Java>then double click java.

 

This will bring up the Java Control Panel.

 

Please then click settings under temporary internet files and then delete files.

 

 

Hit ok twice to get out. Once this is done trying restarting the client.
